  2. Comer Scholarship: The Comer Scholarship is designed for students passionate about environmental journalism, offering nearly half of tuition for Medill’s one-year master’s program. Both U.S. and international students in the Health, Environmental & Science specialization are eligible.   3. Reuters Journalism Scholarship: The Reuters Journalism Scholarship is for students interested in business, politics, or foreign affairs reporting. It includes $40,000 in tuition support from Medill and Reuters, a three-month post-graduate internship at Reuters in New York, and mentorship opportunities with Reuters editors. Eligible students must be accepted and enrolled at Medill. To apply, submit your application by the Round 1 or 2 deadlines for priority consideration.
  4. Dean’s Scholarship: The Dean’s Scholarship covers full tuition and is awarded to five students admitted to the MSJ program for the 2025-2026 academic year. Students from all specializations are eligible, with priority given to those applying in Round 1 or 2. Paul Sagan ProPublica Medill Investigative Lab Scholar: The Paul Sagan ProPublica Medill Investigative Lab Scholar is a $15,000 award for students admitted to the Medill graduate journalism program pursuing the investigative specialization in the Medill Investigative Lab. The award is in addition to any merit aid and applied toward tuition. Students interested in or experienced with data journalism are also considered
